TRANSFER TIME FROM LYON AIRPORT TO LES DEUX ALPES

The transfer time from Lyon Airport to Les Deux Alpes is about 2 hours 35 minutes, covering a distance of 156km. This obviously depends on the weather and traffic conditions. We allow more time for the journey when we know the traffic may be bad, such as during the school holidays. Our vehicles usually take the A43 motorway, then the A48 to Grenoble, then the N85 to Vizille, then the D1091 and D213 to Les 2 Alpes.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

If you are delayed, including due to the new EES border checks, we may be able to hold our bus for a short while. However, we have other customers to consider and our driver hours are strictly regulated by law.

Unlike other companies, we sacrifice profit and leave more and more empty seats on our buses as the day progresses. This is so we can get you on the next bus for free if you’re late, availability permitting. We are only a bus company though and we can’t be held liable if we can’t find a solution for you.

If you are worried about the time between your flight landing and our bus departing, just select a later bus when you book. When you arrive at the airport, approach our team and if there is space on an earlier bus, you can get on that for free.

We kindly ask for your patience and consideration if you are at our bus on time but we have to wait for late arriving passengers.

Please do not contact us if you are delayed. Just approach a rep after Baggage Reclaim and we will try to fit you on a later bus.

If you are on the last bus of the day, we will try to hold that back a little longer. If you are very delayed and you miss our last bus, our managers will try to help you with advice on your options. You would either need to take a taxi or stay in a hotel at or close to the airport – at your own expense. You could then take our first bus the following morning, if we have one and availability permitting.

Heading to Val d’Isere this winter? Flying into Geneva Airport? Geneva is one of the best airports for Val d’Isere and our service offers the best prices. TRANSFER TIME FROM GENEVA AIRPORT TO VAL D’ISERE

The transfer time from Geneva Airport to Val d’Isere is about 3 hours 35 minutes. The distance from Geneva Airport is 180km (112 miles), making it one of the most accessible airports. The transfer time depends on the date, time of day, weather and traffic, but we allow more time for the journey when we know travelling conditions may be bad, such as during the French February school holidays. Ben’s Bus has up to 8 well timed buses every Saturday.

BUS STOPS

All our buses can stop at the main bus station in Val d’Isere, the ‘Gare Routiere’ and La Daille. La Daille is the purpose built part of the resort, about 5 minutes from the main town. Mottaret Airport Transfers

Transfers to Mottaret are available from 3 different airports with Ben’s Bus. Our network of shared transfers include shuttle buses from GENEVA Airport to Mottaret. From Grenoble and Lyon Airports, our services only go as far as Moutiers, the village on the valley floor which has regular public buses up to the resort. We have 2 stops in the Mottaret, one at the Centre and one up at Le Hameau.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS TO MOTTARET

We run our Geneva Airport to Mottaret airport transfers on week-ends during the 2024 / 2025 ski season. Our shared transfers operate from 14th December 2024 – 6th April 2025, depending on which airport you use. We operate many shuttle buses each day and we generally transport passengers in large coaches, which means cheaper fares and less of an environmental impact. With our fantastic discounts for groups and children, our prices start from just over £82pp Return.

CLOSEST AIRPORT TO MOTTARET

Chambery Airport is the closest airport to Mottaret with the shortest transfer time, but it has a limited selection of flights. For a greater choice, consider flying into Geneva Airport (GVA), Lyon Airport (LYS) or Grenoble Airport (GNB). The transfer time depends on the traffic and weather. We allow extra time for the journey when we know travelling conditions may be difficult, such as during the French school holidays. Mottaret is at the end of the D90 mountain road, which also passes through Meribel.

Geneva Airport to Mottaret is 140 km. The transfer time is about 3 hours. A Return costs from £82.25pp.

Lyon Airport to Mottaret is 183 km. The transfer time to Moutiers is about 2 hours 10 minutes and costs from £79pp.

Moutiers Coach Station is 22 km from Mottaret and the transfer time is about 45 minutes.  If you are arriving from Grenoble or Lyon Airport or by the eurostar, we’d recommend the local public buses or a taxi for onward travel from Moutiers.

BUS STOP IN MOTTARET

Our transfers from Geneva Airport stop outside the Tourist Office in Mottaret Centre and at the bus stop on the roundabout up at Mottaret Le Hameau. From here you can walk or take a free in-resort shuttle bus, which dart around the resort fairly regularly, to most accommodations in Mottaret. MOTTARET SKI RESORT

Mottaret, also known as Meribel-Mottaret, is the highest of the Meribel valley resorts at 1750m. It offers a wide range of ski-in accommodation and is a good value alternative to its more glamorous neighbour, Meribel. Mottaret does still have a good selection of nightlife spots and leisure activties.

Being part of the enormous 3 Valleys ski area you get access to some amazing skiing, including the valleys of Val Thorens and Courchevel. Over 200 lifts cover 600km of runs, consisting of 49 black runs, 175 reds, 207 blues and 66 greens. The 2 glaciers will ensure your ski holiday is snow-sure.

Our service stops at the main bus station in Les Menuires, the Gare Routiere. From here you can take the free shuttle buses to your accommodation. Auris en Oisans Airport Transfers

Auris en Oisans is connected by pistes to Alpe d’Huez but it is accessed by a completely separate road. This road comes up from Bourg d’Oisans, the village on the valley floor and the transport hub for the area. Our Auris en Oisans airport transfers only go as far as Bourg d’Oisans, which you can select as an option on our online booking form. From Bourg, you will need to make your own transport arrangements for the short journey up to Auris en Oisans (see the section below for advice on this).

AIRPORT TRANSFERS TO AURIS EN OISANS

We operate our Bourg d’Oisans ski transfers, connecting you with Grenoble Airport, throughout the 2024 / 2025 ski season. Visit our Grenoble Airport to Bourg d’Oisans page for more information including the location of our bus stop. Our service operates from 1st December 2024 – 12th April 2025. Our Saturday prices from Grenoble Airport are £58pp Return & £33.50pp Single but we have some great discounts for groups and children. We also have a service from Lyon Airport to Bourg d’Oisans.

AURIS EN OISANS SKI RESORT

Auris en Oisans is a small, friendly, family orientated resort in the department of Isere in the Southern French Alps. It sits at an altitude of 1600m and faces south, enjoying plenty of sunshine and spectacular views of the Meije and the rest of the Ecrins National Park. It is linked to Alpe d’Huez by ski lifts and forms part of the Grand Domaine ski area, offering 250km of varied piste. Due to its small size, most accommodations are very close to the piste. The resort makes a special effort for families, putting on plenty of events to keep the kids occupied when they are not skiing. It also benefits from much more competitive rates than its bigger brother, Alpe d’Huez. Although the amount of bars and restaurants is less, you are still able to enjoy the extensive ski area if you buy the Domaine ski pass.
