TRANSFER TIME FROM GENEVA AIRPORT TO FLAINE

The transfer time from Geneva Airport to Flaine is about 2 hours, depending on the date, time of day, the weather and traffic. We allow more time for the journey when we know travel conditions may be bad. The distance is 89km (55 miles). We usually have 2 buses going up to the mountain and 3 buses coming down. Our vehicles usually take the most direct route which is via the A40 motorway, then the D6 before climbing the D106 mountain road to Flaine.

Les Deux Alpes Airport Transfers

Transfers to Les Deux Alpes are available from Grenoble and Lyon Airport with Ben’s Bus. Read on for advice on Les Deux Alpes transfers from Geneva or Chambery Airport. Our GRENOBLE Airport to Les Deux Alpes shuttles connect with all scheduled flights during the 2024 / 2025 winter ski season. AIRPORT TRANSFERS TO LES DEUX ALPES

Our shared Grenoble transfers operate from the 1st December 2024 until 12th April 2025. The average wait time at the airport is just 1 hour, often much less. A Saturday transfer from Grenoble Airport to Les 2 Alpes costs just £34pp Single or £59.50pp Return. With our group discounts, you could pay as little as £52pp Rtn. Lyon Airport transfers run less regularly. A Single costs £41.50 and a Return £75. Children under 12 get a 10% discount. TRANSFER TIMES TO LES DEUX ALPES

Grenoble Airport is the closest airport to Les Deux Alpes, followed by Chambery and Lyon Airports. The transfer time from Grenoble Airport to Les Deux Alpes is usually about 2 hours, depending on the weather and traffic. We allow more time for the journey when we think the travelling conditions may be bad. If you’re flying into Chambery or Geneva, you could consider changing your flights to Grenoble or Lyon so you can take our service, as this will be the cheapest way of getting to Les 2 Alpes.

Grenoble Airport to Les Deux Alpes is 109 km. The transfer time is about 2 hours. A Return costs from £52pp.

Get directions from Grenoble Airport to Les Deux Alpes.

Lyon Airport to Les Deux Alpes is 157 km and the transfer time is about 2 hours 30 minutes. A Return costs from £65.60pp.

Get directions from Lyon Airport to Les 2 Alpes.

Geneva Airport to Les Deux Alpes is 216 km with a transfer time of about 3 – 4 hours in a taxi. You can also take a bus to Grenoble and then a local Transaltitude bus. Get directions from Geneva Airport to Les 2 Alpes.

Chambery Airport to Les Deux Alpes is 132 km and the transfer time is about 2 hours. A Private transfer costs about £320 for up to 4 people. Public Transport would be time consuming and complicated. Get directions from Chambery Airport to Les 2 Alpes.

Grenoble Bus Station to Les Deux Alpes is 67 km and the transfer time is about 1 hour 30 minutes. The local buses are operated by Transisere or look at our private taxis page to see who we recommend.

BUS STOPS

Our 3 bus stops in Les Deux Alpes can be seen on the map below. The Tourist Office Map shows even more accommodation centres. Free shuttle buses circulate the resort and could take you closer to where you are staying. You can either choose your stop when you make your booking or log into your account to select your stop. Unfortunately we are unable to offer advice on which stop is best for you.

Les 2 Alpes 1800 is a steep uphill walk from our stop and the shuttle bus does not operate 24hrs a day. Local taxi companies may not agree to doing such a short in-resort journey. You should consider this before booking with us.

Take the Free Shuttle Bus up to the “Zone du Soleil” for Le Flocon d’Or, Le Prince des Ecrins & Le Soleil. The Zone du Soleil is a steep uphill walk from our stop and the shuttle bus does not operate 24hrs a day. Local taxi companies may not agree to doing such a short in-resort journey. You should consider this before booking with us.

LES DEUX ALPES SKI RESORT

Les Deux Alpes is lively, bustling modern resort situated in the Southern French Alps. It is well known for its nightlife and has many bars, clubs and apres-ski venues.  Although it is popular with young groups, it is a resort that caters for all types, with many different standards of accommodation and places to eat, including a Michelin starred restaurant. It has all the amenities you would expect from a large French ski resort. The glacier, which sits at 3600m, is the largest ski-able glacier in Europe and ensures a snow-sure holiday. It has 48 lifts covering 225km of marked ski runs, with 10 blacks, 18 reds, 42 blues and 19 greens.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

If you are delayed, including due to the new EES border checks, we may be able to hold our bus for a short while. However, we have other customers to consider and our driver hours are strictly regulated by law.

Unlike other companies, we sacrifice profit and leave more and more empty seats on our buses as the day progresses. This is so we can get you on the next bus for free if you’re late, availability permitting. We are only a bus company though and we can’t be held liable if we can’t find a solution for you.

If you are worried about the time between your flight landing and our bus departing, just select a later bus when you book. When you arrive at the airport, approach our team and if there is space on an earlier bus, you can get on that for free.

We kindly ask for your patience and consideration if you are at our bus on time but we have to wait for late arriving passengers.

Please do not contact us if you are delayed. Just approach a rep after Baggage Reclaim and we will try to fit you on a later bus.

If you are on the last bus of the day, we will try to hold that back a little longer. If you are very delayed and you miss our last bus, our managers will try to help you with advice on your options. You would either need to take a taxi or stay in a hotel at or close to the airport – at your own expense. You could then take our first bus the following morning, if we have one and availability permitting.

TRANSFER TIME FROM GENEVA AIRPORT TO LES ARCS 

The Geneva Airport to Les Arcs transfer time is about 3 hours 30 minutes. This depends on the date, time of day, weather and which Les Arcs resort you are going to. We allow more time for the journey when we know travel conditions may be bad. The distance is 165km (102 miles). Expand the section TIMETABLE below to see more details about our bus times. Our vehicles usually take the most direct route via the A41 motorway and the N90 national road through Annecy and Ugine before climbing the D119 mountain road up to the resorts.

LES ARCS BUS STOPS

Our service stops at Les Arcs 2000, Les Arcs 1950, Les Arcs 1800 and the UCPA centre in Les Arcs 1600. If you are holidaying in 1600 or 1800, we recommend you research where our stops are in relation to where your accommodation is before booking with us. Make sure you are comfortable with getting to and from our stop. Auris en Oisans Airport Transfers

Auris en Oisans is connected by pistes to Alpe d’Huez but it is accessed by a completely separate road. This road comes up from Bourg d’Oisans, the village on the valley floor and the transport hub for the area. Our Auris en Oisans airport transfers only go as far as Bourg d’Oisans, which you can select as an option on our online booking form. From Bourg, you will need to make your own transport arrangements for the short journey up to Auris en Oisans (see the section below for advice on this).

AIRPORT TRANSFERS TO AURIS EN OISANS

We operate our Bourg d’Oisans ski transfers, connecting you with Grenoble Airport, throughout the 2024 / 2025 ski season. Our Saturday prices from Grenoble Airport are £58pp Return & £33.50pp Single but we have some great discounts for groups and children. We also have a service from Lyon Airport to Bourg d’Oisans.

AURIS EN OISANS SKI RESORT

Auris en Oisans is a small, friendly, family orientated resort in the department of Isere in the Southern French Alps. It sits at an altitude of 1600m and faces south, enjoying plenty of sunshine and spectacular views of the Meije and the rest of the Ecrins National Park. It is linked to Alpe d’Huez by ski lifts and forms part of the Grand Domaine ski area, offering 250km of varied piste. Due to its small size, most accommodations are very close to the piste. The resort makes a special effort for families, putting on plenty of events to keep the kids occupied when they are not skiing. It also benefits from much more competitive rates than its bigger brother, Alpe d’Huez. Although the amount of bars and restaurants is less, you are still able to enjoy the extensive ski area if you buy the Domaine ski pass.

GRENOBLE AIRPORT TO LES DEUX ALPES

Transfers from Grenoble Airport to Les Deux Alpes operate throughout the winter. The 2024 / 2025 ski season will be our 19th year running shared airport shuttles on this route. Our low cost transfers to Les Deux Alpes are regular and timely and we have many staff to ensure you have a smooth, comfortable and safe journey. Shared transfers are also available on Saturday mornings from Lyon Airport to Les Deux Alpes. We generally transport passengers in larger coaches, thereby reducing your impact on the environment.

TRANSFER PRICES FROM GRENOBLE AIRPORT TO LES DEUX ALPES

A transfer from Grenoble Airport to Les Deux Alpes on Saturdays will cost you just £59.50pp Return. GRENOBLE AIRPORT TO LES DEUX ALPES TRANSFER TIME

The transfer time from Grenoble Airport to Les Deux Alpes is about 2 hours, depending on the date, time of day, weather and traffic conditions. We allow more time when we know traffic may be bad. The distance is 110 km. We have up to 8 buses a day so you’ll never have to wait long. Our vehicles usually take the A48 motorway to Grenoble, then the N85 to Vizille, then the D1091 and D213 to Les 2 Alpes. Our local drivers may take alternative routes when the traffic is bad.

BUS STOPS

Ben’s Bus reps will greet you at Grenoble Airport. We also have reps in the resort on Saturdays to ensure you find our bus and we’ll try to call you if you are not there on time. We have 3 bus stops in Les Deux Alpes, conveniently located around the resort. Expand the section “BUS STOPS” below to see a map of these stops and information on the free in-resort shuttle buses. Villard Reculas Airport Transfers

Although we do not offer direct airport transfers to Villard Reculas, we can take you most of the way from both Grenoble and Lyon Airports. Villard Reculas is connected by a piste to the Alpe d’Huez ski area. It is, however, accessed by a completely separate road which comes up from Rochetaillee, a small village close to Bourg d’Oisans. There is also a narrow road which connects Villard Reculas to Alpe d’Huez but it is closed when there is snow, so it’s always best to use our Rochetaillee stop. From Rochetaillee you will need to make your own travel arrangements for the short journey to Villard Reculas.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS TO VILLARD RECULAS

Ben’s Buses service all scheduled flights from Grenoble Airport throughout the 2024 / 25 winter ski season. Our Grenoble Airport to Bourg d’Oisans page has more information on this. From Lyon Airport, we have transfers on most Saturdays. Visit our Lyon Airport to Bourg d’Oisans page for details on dates, times and prices. Our Saturday prices from Grenoble Airport to Rochetaillee are £58pp Return or £33.50pp Single, but with our group and child discounts, you could pay as little as £51pp Return. We will drop you off at and pick you up from the main bus stop in Rochetaillee, next to the Hotel Belledonne.

VILLARD RECULAS SKI RESORT

Villard Reculas is a quiet, authentic village which has a real mountain feel to it. It has not been developed at all and retains a lot of its mountain village charm. Facing south, it offers breathtaking views and enjoys a lot of sun. It’s connected to the Alpe d’Huez ski area so you’ve got 250kms of pisted runs at your disposal. It’s definitely a family resort, or a mountain lovers resort, as there’s not much to do there except enjoy the ambiance. The distance to Grenoble airport is 100km and the transfer time to Rochetaillee, in good driving conditions, is usually only 1 hour 15 minutes. Grenoble City Centre Shuttle Bus

This service is operated by our friends at Actibus. They sell tickets for this service online via the Actibus website. Although can also buy tickets once you arrive at the airport, we strongly recommend buying them in advance. On Saturdays, representatives from Actibus will be in the departures lounge selling tickets. On Sundays and weekdays, you can buy tickets from the driver. All the buses depart and arrive from outside the Departures lounge. Tickets on the day cost 15.50€ pp Single and 27€ Return. Children under 12 get a 10% discount.

The service will take you directly to the main bus and train station in Grenoble, the “Gare Routiere“. From here you can take onward transport to many towns, cities and ski resorts in France and Europe. Check out the SNCF website for train information and the Transaltitude website for local bus information.

The transfer time is about 45 minutes and the distance is 45 km. Whether you are travelling for a ski holiday, to visit friends, on business or just to visit Grenoble itself, this bus service will provide you with an efficient, timely, cost effective and environmentally-friendly way to get to the city centre in a safe and comfortable fashion.

The shuttle service operate every day that there is a scheduled flight into or out of Grenoble Airport, between the 3rd December 2022 and the 22nd April 2023. The bus timetable has been designed to minimise the time you spend at the airport. The maximum wait time is 1 hour 30 minutes, although depending on your flight arrival time, it is often much less.
