About Us
ABOUT BEN’S BUS
Ben’s Bus
is a UK registered company that has been operating in the French Alps since 2006. It was started by Ben Keown, a keen skier and snowboarder who recognised the need for a low cost, high quality, shared ski transfer service for independent holidaymakers. He designed a user friendly website and placed bilingual reps at the airport and in resort to liaise between his customers and the drivers. Ben’s Bus has been working with their valued French coach company partners for many years. We carefully select our transport partners, with passenger safety and customer service a top priority in our decision making process.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to be the best value-for-money transfer company in the French Alps. We pride ourselves on being an honest, ethical and affordable enterprise. Our service focuses on offering exceptional and unbeatable value for money, with a great service to match. All our bus services use vehicles which are fully licensed, registered and insured in France. Our drivers are French speaking, most are local to the area and have years of experience driving in the mountains. Our English speaking reps usually live in the ski resorts, so they know the accommodation and nightlife hotspots better than anyone.
OUR SERVICE

We will continue to operate all our existing services for the 2024 / 2025 season out of Lyon Airport, Grenoble Airport & Geneva Airport. Our network covers most of the ski resorts in France. If your ski resort is not listed on our ski transfers page, or we don’t have a shared transfer to suit your needs, try looking at public transport, the Tourist Office website for your resort or our private transfers page. Our etickets that are sent out as soon as you have booked will have all the information about your ski transfer, including the times of our buses, how to find us, maps showing where our stops are and emergency contact numbers in resort. We always try and call our customers if we can’t find them.

CHARITIES, THE ENVIRONMENT AND COMMUNITIES
Ben’s Bus genuinely cares for the environment. It was one of the reasons Ben started the company in the first place. Why have 20 cars on the roads when you could have 1 bus? Paper printing is kept to a minimum and our eTickets are mobile & tablet friendly. We give to charities concerned with the local and skiing community, environment, homelessness and poverty. Check out our Charity page to see how you can also donate to the good causes that we support. We have recently written a blog post with some tops tips on how reduce your carbon footprint when flying to your ski holiday.
CONTACT US
If you need to get in touch, please visit our Contact Us page. On this page you can also re-send your eTicket to yourself as well as change your booking. To keep our costs to a minimum and to allow us to offer you rock bottom prices, we can only be contacted by email. Once you have booked with us, our eTickets have links to our webpages showing our emergency telephone numbers in resort, which connect directly to your rep. We genuinely welcome feedback about our service, good or bad. It’s the only way we can continuously improve our service.

BEN’S BUS CUSTOMERS HELP GENERATE £1, 200 FOR CHARITY
Thank you to all our customers who opted in to donate 25p to charity when they booked their ski transfer in the 2024 / 2025 ski season. As promised, Ben’s Bus has matched the total amount donated by our customers. This year our passengers generated £628 in charitable contributions, so we’ve doubled it to make a total of £1,256.
We’d like to send out a huge thank you to all our customers who travelled from Geneva Airport, Grenoble Airport or Lyon Airport and opted to give to charity.
WHERE THE MONEY GOES
We gave £628 to WaterAid, a charity helping to deliver clean water and sanitation to people around the world.
We gave £628 to Shelter, a UK homelessness organisation.
Our Environment and Charitable Donations page can tell you more about our Policy for Charities.
A huge thank you from our chosen charities and and from Ben’s Bus to all of you who donated. Hopefully next year we can generate even more money!
