TRANSFER TIME FROM GENEVA AIRPORT TO VAL D’ISERE
The transfer time from Geneva Airport to Val d’Isere is about 3 hours 35 minutes. The distance is 180km (112 miles), making it one of the most accessible airports. The transfer time depends on the date, time of day, weather and traffic, but we allow more time for the journey when we know travelling conditions may be bad, such as during the French February school holidays. Our vehicles usually take the most direct route via the A41 motorway and the N90 national road through Annecy and Ugine before climbing the D902 mountain road up to the resort.
BUS STOPS
All our buses can stop at the new bus station in La Daille and, depending on when you arrive and depart, the centre of Val d’Isere. Please read this entire section for full advice on your options. We sell Geneva Airport to Val d’Isere shared transfers on:
SATURDAYS: Every Saturday from the 30th November 2024 until the 26th April 2025
SUNDAYS: Every Sunday from the 15th December 2024 until the 6th April 2025
WEEKDAYS: We don’t operate to Val d’Isere on weekdays.

– You could change your flight to one that suits our bus times
– If you are arriving on a Friday / Saturday evening, you could stay in a hotel at Geneva Airport and then take our morning bus the next day. Just select “Hotel” for your Airline and Airport and the first flight arrival time listed to see our morning bus times.
– Remember, you could book a Single with us and another Single with another company and / or use public transport.

THE JOURNEY
The transfer time from Geneva to Val d’Isere is usually between 3 hours 20 minutes and 4 hours, covering a distance of 180km. Val d’Isere is at the end of the mountain road so you should prepare yourself for a long transfer. Bring a book or a downloaded video and something to entertain the kids, especially if you are travelling between the hours of 7am – 2pm as the roads can get very congested. We usually take the A41 motorway and then the N90 National road via Annecy and Bourg before climbing the D902 to Val d’Isere.

Val d’Isere Centre Bus Stop
You can see this stop in google maps here. Unfortunately the local authorities have restricted access to this stop:
– If you arrive into the resort before 9pm, we will drop you at La Daille. From here you can take the ‘Red Train’ shuttle bus onto your accommodation.
– If you depart the resort after 07:50, we will pick you up at La Daille. The ‘Red Train’ shuttle bus starts operating at around 07:30.

Please note that from time to time, our transfers from Geneva Airport may require a stop at Moutiers, Aime or Bourg St Maurice, where you may need to change over to another feeder coach. Our reps and / or drivers will help you with this and we will try and keep this inconvenience to a minimum.
