GRENOBLE AIRPORT TO TIGNES
Ben’s Bus operates shared transfers from Grenoble Airport to Tignes on Saturdays and Sundays during the 2024 / 25 winter ski season. This is our 19th year running low cost airport transfers to the French Alps. Our network of routes includes airport shuttles from Lyon to Tignes and Geneva to Tignes. Our well-trained staff at the airport and in resort will ensure a reliable, quality and timely service.
All our airport shuttles can make stops at Tignes Val Claret, Tignes Le Lac, Tignes 1800 & Tignes Les Brevieres. When you travel with us, since we transport passengers in large coaches, your carbon footprint will already be as small as it can be. However, we now offset all our carbon emissions!
TRANSFER PRICES FROM GRENOBLE AIRPORT TO TIGNES
A shared ski transfer from Grenoble Airport (GNB) to Tignes with Ben’s Bus on Saturdays will cost you £97.50pp Return. GRENOBLE AIRPORT TO TIGNES TRANSFER TIME
The transfer time from Grenoble Airport to Tignes Le Lac is about 3 hours 50 minutes, depending the date, time of day, the weather and traffic conditions. We allow more time for the journey when we know traffic may be bad. The distance to Tignes Val Claret, the furthest resort, is 209 km. The route our vehicles usually take is the A43 (E70) motorway to Albertville via Grenoble, then the N90 national road to Bourg St Maurice then the D902 to Tignes. BUS STOPS
Our buses will drop you off and pick you up at convenient, designated stops in Tignes Les Brevieres, Tignes 1800, Tignes Le Lac and Tignes Val Claret. You can select any of these resorts when you book with us. Expand the section BUS STOP LOCATION below to see a map of our stops. You can also see information about the local free in-resort shuttle buses which can take you onto your accommodation. Ben’s Bus reps will greet you upon arrival at Grenoble Airport. We also have reps in the resort to ensure you find our bus and we’ll try to call you if you are not there.

DATES
Our Transfers from Grenoble Airport to Tignes operate on the following days:
SATURDAYS: From the 14th December 2024 until the 5th April 2025.
SUNDAYS: From the 22nd December 2024 until the 23rd March 2025.
OTHER DAYS: There is a shuttle bus from Grenoble Airport to Grenoble city centre. From here you can take onward transport to Tignes. Visit our Alternative Transport page for links and suggestions for public transport and private taxis.
We also run a more frequent service, on more dates, from Geneva Airport to Tignes.
Please Note The Following Exceptions:
– On the 14th & 22nd December we only have services to Tignes.
– On the 5th April we run a limited service to Tignes.
– On Sunday the 23rd March we only have services from Tignes.

GRENOBLE AIRPORT > TIGNES
Our last bus on Saturday leaves Grenoble Airport in the mid-late afternoon. If you arrive too late for any of our services, we would recommend taking a private transfer. You could also consider staying in a hotel near Grenoble Airport overnight and catching our Sunday morning service.
Our only bus on Sunday departs Grenoble Airport in the late morning.
TIGNES > GRENOBLE AIRPORT
We only have morning services on Saturdays from Tignes. The traffic leaving Tignes from about 10am – 2pm can be totally gridlocked, and so we have had to stop our lunchtime service. If you are flying out of Grenoble Airport on an evening flight, we do have an early afternoon service from Moutiers, a town on the valley floor. The best way to get to Moutiers is to take a bus or taxi to Bourg St Maurice and then take a train to Moutiers. The train avoids the horrific traffic jams than can happen between Bourg and Moutiers.
We only have one early morning Sunday service from Tignes.
You may, therefore, be better to book 2 sets of Singles, either to / from Tignes and then to / from Moutiers.
JOURNEY TIME
The transfer time between Grenoble Airport & Tignes Les Brevieres is usually between 3 hours 30 minutes to 4 hours. For Tignes 1800 it takes another 10 mins, for Tignes Le Lac another 25 minutes and for Tignes Val Claret another 35 minutes. These times are approximations. We allow extra time on certain dates & certain times of the day when we know the traffic may be bad. With years of experience driving this route, we know how long to allow for the journey depending on the time and date of the transfer. Once you put your details into our online booking system, we will show you a list of the available bus times.
BUS STOP LOCATION
We will pick you up and drop you off at the stops marked below. Please ensure you are at the stop 10 minutes before departure time to allow us to pack your bags onto the bus. Our vehicles will have signs in the window but please make sure you get on the correct bus as we have buses going to other airports!
The Tignes Tourist Office map of the resort will help you find your accommodation in Tignes and show how close our stop is to it. The free shuttle buses that circulate the resort all depart from – or very close to – the Ben’s Bus stops. The correct map below will be shown on your e-ticket along with the pick up time.
Tignes Val Claret Bus Stop
The ‘Gare Routiere’ Bus Station, which is a small outdoor coach park on the North Eastern side of the village, just above all of the buildings. It is close to the Parking du Golf. View our Tignes Val Claret Bus Stop in GoogleMaps.
Tignes Le Lac Bus Stop
At the main bus station, the “Gare Routiere”, in the centre of the village. If you are staying in Le Lavachet, this is the stop for you. View our Tignes Le Lac Bus Stop in Google Maps.
Tignes 1800 Bus Stop

Tignes Les Brevieres Bus Stop

Please note that very infrequently, our transfers from Grenoble Airport may require a stop en-route, where you may need to change over to another feeder coach. Our reps and / or drivers will help you with this and we will try and keep this inconvenience to a minimum.
