VAL D’ISERE AIRPORT SHUTTLES
Geneva to Val d’Isere transfers run every weekend. Our Grenoble routes also run on Saturdays and Sundays but our Lyon routes only operate on Saturdays. Depending on the airport you use, we operate between the 30th November 2024 and the 26th April 2025. We usually transport passengers in large coaches. Shared transfers are cheaper than private transfers or hire cars, offer more space for a more comfortable journey, and are more environmentally friendly.

Chambery is the closest airport to Val d’Isere with the shortest transfer time. However, it has a very limited choice of flights. There are more airlines and destinations available from Geneva (GVA), Lyon (LYS) and Grenoble (GNB) airports. The transfer time obviously depends on the traffic and weather conditions. We know when to allow extra time for the journey, such as during the French school holidays. Val d’Isere is at the end of the Tarentaise valley road, the D902.

Bourg St Maurice Coach Station to Val d’Isere is 32 km and the transfer time is about 50 mins. If you are arriving by eurostar and looking for transfers from Bourg St Maurice train station, we’d recommend the local Val d’Isere public buses or a private taxi.
BUS STOPS
Our Val d’Isere airport transfers from Grenoble, Geneva and Lyon Airports can stop at either of our two bus stops. They are in the centre of town or La Daille, which is a few kilometres before the entrance to the main resort. Val d’Isere Centre Bus Stop is in the centre of town. See it in google maps here. Unfortunately the local authorities have restricted access to this stop:
– If you arrive into the resort before 9pm, we will drop you at La Daille. From here you can take the ‘Red Train’ shuttle bus onto your accommodation.
– If you depart the resort after 07:50, we will pick you up at La Daille. The ‘Red Train’ shuttle bus starts operating at around 07:30.

VAL D’ISERE SKI RESORT
Val d’Isere is a world famous destination – and rightly so. It has everything you could wish for in a ski resort. Fantastic facilities, beautiful architecture, a modern lift system, and of course, great skiing. It has a wide range of accommodations, hotels, bars, restaurants, cafes and spas and the sports & leisure complex is one of the best in the Alps.
It sits at an altitude of 1800m on the border of the Vanoise National Park and Italy. As part of the Espace Killy ski area, you will get some of the best skiing in the world. The area covers over 300km of marked runs, serviced by 88 ski lifts. There are 27 black runs, 40 reds, 66 blues, 23 greens and due to the 2 glaciers, your holiday will be snow-sure. The only downside of Val d’Isere – the prices!
